Prelude
Any of the big questions of life that begins with "why" must refer to religion in order to adequately answer these questions. Questions like "why am I here", "why does anything exist" and "why is a particular action wrong" can never be adequately answered without referring to a religion. That being the case each of these questions are framed as a "why" question.

The Cosmological Argument
Why does something exist rather than nothing? This argument centers on the idea that something had to cause the universe. Something that is eternal, outside of time and outside of space. That something is God.

The Teleological Argument
Why does the universe seem fine tuned for the existence of life? In order for the universe to be capable of sustaining life there is a delicate balance of physical constants that must be maintained.  The only way a life bearing universe could have come into existence is if it had been designed. A design implies a designer.  That designer is God.

The Moral Argument
Why are certain actions evil? Why is it better to feed an orphan than to kick an orphan? Where does moral law come from if not from God?
